LifeNet of New York is a program operated by Air Methods. Nationwide, we operate 300+ aircraft at more than 250 bases. In the LifeNet of NY program, we operate 10 helicopters and 1 airplane. Our flight crews bring critical care directly to the patient, whether on a scene or in a hospital, and quickly deliver them to a specialty center that can manage their conditions.
The Akwesasne Mohawk Ambulance (AMA) is an Advanced Life Support (ALS) ambulance service that operates 24 hours a day, 7 days a week and 365 days a year, employing 24 staff on 2 –12 hour shifts. Our service covers the entire community of Akwesasne, St. Regis, Snye, Cornwall Island, and the St. Regis Mohawk Tribe.
